1. DIY rustic cinnamon sticks
This great DIY trick is a simple way to decorate the living room during winter. The entire process takes only a few tens of minutes and will create a cozy atmosphere during the holidays. Let your house smell like cinnamon!
What do you need?
- Cinnamon sticks
- A candle
- Ribbon
- String
- Scissors
- A glue gun and glue sticks
How to proceed:

- Loosely tie a piece of string around the candle
- Slide the cinnamon sticks between the string and the candle until all sticks are tight around the candle
- Use the glue gun to fix everything together
- Tie the piece of ribbon around the string and the cinnamon sticks
- Ready!
2. A Christmas tree made from corks
Are you an avid wine drinker? Instead of throwing cork and after cork, collect them to make a cute Christmas tree.
What do you need?

- 36 wine corks (not made of plastic, you can also use less if you don’t have that many)
- A glue gun and glue sticks
- Paper for decoration
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Scissors
How to proceed:
- Cut circles from paper (for the end of the corks)
- Use different types of paper to ensure variety
- Paint the corks where you have not applied paper
- Glue the corks together as shown in the photo below
- Glue the circles of paper to the end of the corks where you have not applied any paint
- Ready!
3. 3D paper Christmas tree
Do you have little space to place a large Christmas tree in your house or apartment? Then this is definitely for you! This paper Christmas tree is so small that you can even put it on your desk or on top of the fireplace.
What do you need?

- Christmas tree stencil
- Green paper
- Printer
- Glue
- Scissors
How to proceed:
- Print the stencils
- Cut out the small paper Christmas trees
- Fold them in half
- Glue the sides together. The more, the better and fuller your tree will look
- Open the tree and glue the two ends together
- Ready!
