Angle attachments, offset adapters and bit holders

An attachment changes what a drill or a screwdriver can reach, without a second machine joining the kit. An angle attachment turns the drive through a quarter turn, so you can drive screws between joists, inside cabinets and against walls the machine itself cannot approach. An eccentric attachment moves the drive sideways and works flush along an edge. Alongside those sit quick-change holders and bit holders that speed up swapping between drill and bit.

Two things decide whether it fits. On the machine side the tool interface has to match: manufacturers use their own systems and these are not interchangeable, so start from the machine in your hand and not from the attachment. On the tool side, the holder for the bit or the drill has to match as well.

Look at the build height too. On an angle attachment the head height decides how tight a space you can still work in, and a few millimetres either way often settles whether the job is possible. Count on some torque loss through the gearing as well, certainly on heavy driving work. The related accessories sit under screwing, drilling and chiseling.
