Try squares for accurate 90-degree marking and layout

A try square is a fundamental layout tool for marking and verifying 90-degree angles on wood, metal and other materials with confidence. This range includes precision squares with hardened steel blades for workshop use and larger construction squares in aluminium for framing and drywall work on building sites. Facom offers Class II precision squares that meet DIN 875 tolerances, making them suitable for metalworking, machine setup and quality inspection tasks.

Bahco models feature stainless steel blades with clear metric graduations for corrosion-free marking in humid environments. Blade lengths run from 150 mm for detail work up to 400 mm for larger components and panel layouts. Milwaukee measuring triangles add rafter angle functions for carpentry on the roof and staircase construction.
