Extensions with hook brake and for Gedore hydraulic spindles and cylinders

Gedore extensions lengthen the arms or the spindle of a puller, so you reach a bearing, gear or hub that sits deeper than the standard puller allows. Mechanics and maintenance technicians use them when dismantling shafts and machines with deeply seated parts.

First choose by puller type. Extensions with hook brake lengthen the puller hooks, in lengths of 100, 150 and 200 mm. Extensions for a hydraulic spindle state their length range, such as 35 to 60 mm, 85 to 110 mm or 135 to 160 mm, so you can bridge the stroke of the spindle. For hydraulic cylinders there are extensions from 45 mm to 205 mm, plus an adapter for a large spindle. Check in the description which Gedore model the extension was made for, because the connection differs per series. Use no more extension than you need: the shorter the build-up, the more stable the puller.

The extensions are part of the puller parts: spindles, puller hooks and counter-supports. For an internal puller that has to push against the area around the bore, there are counter supports.
