Scope of delivery
- PQ400 housing
- Instruction sheet
Product description
- Reduced risk: fixed voltage and power connections are accessible without opening the distribution panel door
- Improved efficiency: quickly connect your logger or analyser and start taking measurements faster than ever before
- Easy installation: a standard step drill and electro-hydraulic hole punch are the simple means by which the window is quickly mounted in the distribution panel
Fluke's PQ400 electrical measurement window allows three-phase measuring instruments to be connected to live panels without having to open the panel door or use additional personal protective equipment (PPE)1.
Compliance without compromise. Safety without loss of quality.
The Fluke PQ400 gives you access to the essential power quality and energy data you need, while reducing test time and helping you ensure safety.
- Reduce the risk of arcing and electrocution, while increasing the safety of your staff
- Lower maintenance costs and reduce downtime by performing critical mains power and energy measurements without opening the panel door. This allows recording and monitoring at any time without disrupting operations
- Reduce work permit requirements and simplify processes by reducing the hazards associated with making measurements on open distribution panels, saving time and effort
- Increase measurement efficiency and reduce the need for personal protective equipment (PPE)1 against arcs. This saves time, increases efficiency and increases operator comfort
Functions and features
- With permanently connected voltage and current sensors in the electrical distributor, you can take power quality and energy measurements through the external access points without having to open the panel door. This significantly reduces operator risk
- Voltage and current connections for three-phase voltage, neutral and earth cover most measurement scenarios
- With automatic probe detection on the Fluke 1740 and 1730 series Power Quality Loggers and Energy Loggers and compatible clamps, there is no need to open the cabinet to check the clamp model
- Full 360-degree rotation allows the PQ400 window to be rotated in any direction
- Easy installation with a step drill and electro-hydraulic hole punch (114.3 mm, diameter 4.5 inches)
- Safety specification CAT IV, 600 V and CAT III 1000 V according to IEC61010-2-30
- Compatibility with standard insulated 4mm safety test leads makes it easier to make voltage connections, increase safety by reducing the risk of accidental touching of live electrical components, and reduce the need to purchase special voltage test leads
How it works
Fluke's PQ400 electrical measurement window is a permanently mounted interface that gives technicians near-instant access to electrical distributors, for making essential power quality and energy measurements. The PQ400 can be mounted using a standard step drill and an electro-hydraulic hole punch (hole diameter 114.3 mm, 4.5 inches). The PQ400 allows users to make three-phase voltage, current and earth connections for the most common measurement configurations. After assembly, you can simply unlock the window cover, lift the cover and connect the voltage measurement leads of the logger or analyser. Then connect the measurement leads of the current sensors and you can take essential measurements. When you are done, simply remove the voltage and current connections from the front panel interface and lock the window cover, leaving the internal connections in place for future use.
