Powerful cordless screw and impact drill with brushless motor, torque 70/36 Nm. Drilling in stone material is possible with the impact function. High torque even in second gear, thanks to the slightly lower speed. For screwing, the machine has a torque control with 21 positions, where values can be set between 1.0-5.0 Nm. The Makita XPT system effectively protects the machine from dust and water. The powerful dual LED efficiently illuminates the work area. The work light also has a delay, when the light remains on for 10 seconds after the control switch is released. The all-metal drill head with quick-release closure withstands heavy use. A side handle is available as an accessory.

The Makita DTD173 is a very compact and superbly balanced impact screwdriver. It is equipped with a brushless motor and has a maximum torque of 180 Nm. The machine has an easy-to-use rear control panel with four power levels and also features several assist modes. The assist modes provide automatic speed adjustment and is chosen according to the application, for example slow start and then speed up for drilling in wood. The function button above the switch can be used to either adjust the stroke strength or switch to the last mode used.
