Concrete screws for anchoring into concrete and masonry

A concrete screw cuts its own thread into a drilled hole in concrete, solid brick or natural stone, so the fixing holds without a plug, sleeve or expansion force. That matters close to an edge or in a thin section, where an expansion anchor would spall the substrate, and it matters on temporary work because the screw backs out cleanly and the hole can be filled or reused.

Installation is short: drill to the stated diameter and depth, clear the dust, then drive the screw with an impact wrench until the head seats. Hole cleanliness has more influence on holding value than anything else, so blow or brush the bore before driving. Head shape follows the fixture. A hexagon head takes a socket and suits rail, bracket and sole plate work; a countersunk head sits flush where the fixture is drilled to receive it.

Length comes from embedment depth plus the thickness being fixed, never the other way round. Part of the wider screws range, alongside timber construction screws for wood-to-wood joints.
