Although the machine is compact and lightweight, it has a belt speed of up to 1700 m/min. It has a variable-speed dial and a sturdy side handle that are essential for fine wood or metalworking. It also has a movable LED light that can be adjusted based on the shape of the material being worked on and the angle of the sanding arm. The arm folds up to 160°, so when the working day is over, the DBS180 can be easily packed away for storage.
