Tripods, laser detectors, laser columns and rulers for DeWalt lasers

These accessories for DeWalt lasers turn a DeWalt line laser into a complete measuring system: they hold the laser steady at height, pick up the beam where the eye no longer sees it and help with alignment over longer distances.

A laser tripod with a 1/4" mount is the starting point. Choose by working height and weight: a lightweight compact tripod with an inclination head reaches from 0.75 to 1.84 m, while a laser column wedges between floor and ceiling for work at height. With a slope adapter from 0 to 90°, the laser line follows a staircase or a pitched roof.

Outdoors or in bright light, a laser line quickly loses visibility. A detector then picks up the beam; check whether it matches a green or a red DeWalt line laser, as each colour has its own detector. For the same reason the target cards come in green and red, and the laser goggles in green. A 2.4 m laser ruler reads height differences directly. The measuring instruments themselves sit in the DeWalt measuring and inspection technique range.
