Corded DeWalt plunge routers, compact routers and a lamellar cutter
Corded DeWalt routers and a lamellar cutter are made for joinery and interior fitting: profiling edges, cutting rebates and grooves and joining sheet material firmly.
A plunge router lowers the cutter into the workpiece under control, which you need for grooves and recesses in the middle of a panel. Choose by power and collet. Compact routers around 900 W with an 8 mm collet are light and agile for edge work and small profiles. Heavier machines up to 2300 W take on larger profiles in hardwood, and a 12 mm collet accepts bigger cutters. An interchangeable soleplate lets a compact router switch between plunge and fixed-base work. Some models can be operated by remote control, handy when the machine hangs under a router table.
The lamellar cutter with a 100 mm blade cuts slots for biscuits, so panels and frames are glued quickly and in line. Most versions come in a TSTAK case or a sturdy case. For sawing on mains power, the range sits under DeWalt corded table, mitre and circular saws, part of DeWalt electrical power tools.
