Facom 230V and gas soldering irons, and soldering guns from 80 to 500 W
Facom devices are soldering irons, soldering guns and a soldering station for electronics and electrical work. They serve technicians who repair circuit boards, cables and contacts or join wires.
Power decides the application. Soldering irons from 15 to 25 W are meant for fine electronics, where too much heat damages components. A 68 or 75 W iron and a 68 watt digital anti-static soldering station give more headroom for varied work. Soldering guns of 80, 300 or 500 W deliver a lot of heat quickly for thicker wires and larger joints. Most devices run on 230V; for work away from a socket there is a cordless gas soldering iron. Choose an anti-static version as soon as sensitive electronics are on the bench, and a higher-wattage iron if you often solder heavy connections.
