Festool CLEANTEC mobile dust extractors in L and M class

Festool CLEANTEC mobile dust extractors take dust and chips away at the source, straight from the saw, sander or router. This category also holds the SYS-AIR air purifiers, which filter fine dust out of the air in a room.

First choose the dust class. CTL models are L class, for low-hazard dust such as wood dust. CTM models are M class, for medium-hazard dust such as that from plaster, filler and concrete. Then choose the size: the CTL SYS fits into a systainer stack, MINI and MIDI are compact for site work, and the 26 and 36 have a larger container for the workshop. The CTM MIDI holds 15 litres.

Most machines run at 1200 W. Versions with AC in the name have automatic filter cleaning, which helps when there is a lot of fine dust. The SYS-AIR comes in an M and an H version. These extractors belong to Festool electrical power tools and work alongside the Festool eccentric, delta and long-neck sanders, where sanding dust makes the heaviest demand on extraction.
