• How does FieldSense technology work?
• With a capacitive sensor, a voltage signal is measured via the user's hand in relation to earth, without any electrical contact or galvanic connection and completely isolated!
• The sensor area of the tester must be close to the measured signal on a live conductor.
• In this case, both the user's hand and body provide a connection to earth.
• The electric field (voltage) and magnetic field (current) are recorded.
• If the earth connection is missing, an earth symbol is shown on the display of the T6.
• In some cases, measuring leads must be used: When the hand or human body is isolated from earthing (e.g.
