All Gedore pullers: universal, inner and in sets
Gedore pullers remove bearings, gears, pulleys and hubs from a shaft or out of a housing without damaging the part. They belong with mechanics, maintenance technicians and machine builders who strip down equipment regularly.
First choose where the puller grips. An outer puller holds the part from the outside, with two arms for tight spots or three arms for a more even pull. On a universal puller, two dimensions such as 200x150 mm or 130x160 mm give the span and the working depth. An inner puller hooks into the bore of a bearing seated in a housing and is chosen by inner diameter, for example 35 to 45 mm. When a bearing is truly stuck, a 500 mm slide-hammer puller of 1.7 kg breaks it loose.
Puller sets combine inner and outer pullers in a case, in an L-BOXX 136 or in a module for tool trolleys and workbenches. A pulling device of 70 to 215 mm handles larger parts. After pulling, the next step is often loosening bolts with Gedore ring, ratchet and strap spanners, within Gedore hand tools.
