Product description

  • Strengthens the joints

HG tile cement residue remover (product 11) removes cement residue from all types of porous and non-porous ceramic tiles and flagstones, as well as non-calciferous natural stone types such as Norwegian slate, granite and quartzite. This unique product dissolves cement from the tile surface without affecting the cement in the joints; the joints are even strengthened. In addition, it is also suitable for removing rust. For very stubborn cement and mortar residues, we recommend HG cement & mortar residue remover (product 12).

Instructions for use

  • For glazed, smooth tiles and flagstones: dissolve half a litre in 5 litres of water
  • For unglazed and coarsely glazed tiles and non-calciferous natural stone: dissolve 1 litre in 4 litres of water
  • First wet the surface with clean water and then apply the solution generously using a floor cloth or mop
  • Do not treat more than 10 to 15 m2 at a time
  • Then scrub the surface thoroughly with a scrubber or brush
  • Soak for 15-20 minutes, keeping the floor wet with the solution of this product during the soaking period
  • Then thoroughly scrub the treated surface again and remove the solution with a mop, rinsing it regularly and wringing it out in water
  • Then mop the floor thoroughly 2-3 more times with clean water
  • If necessary, repeat the treatment locally
  • Consumption: 20-50 m2 depending on dilution and intensity of the cement residue
  • Natural stone line
