Invis Mx2 is a unique, magnetic furniture connector that meets the most stringent requirements in terms of aesthetics, stability and productivity. With no visible openings, the Invis Mx2 can always be quickly connected and disconnected again via the magnetic drive. In doing so, the rotary drive tool MiniMag drives the screw in the connector contactlessly and invisibly. As preparation, the connection set requires two Ø12 mm drill holes in both workpieces. A stationary drill, a CNC machine or the in the Rasto drill jig supplied in the starter kit can be used for these drill holes. It is important to drill extremely precisely. An indraaimal is supplied for turning in the fixing nut at right angles. The Invis Mx2 connector is screwed in without an indexing jig and is automatically vertically aligned due to its length. Using the MiniMag and a cordless drill, the joint is closed and a joint tension of up to 250 kg per connector can be achieved. To achieve this high tension force, the magnetically driven joint fittings should be installed as close to the panel surface as possible. The distance from the outer edge to the centre of the connector should not exceed 15 mm. The removable furniture connector opens when the direction of rotation on the cordless drill is changed. The connector is ideal when clamps or other clamping aids would leave marks on highly polished painted components or slip on cast workpieces. Invis Mx2 is also used to fix inspection doors or to invisibly screw down the last workpiece of a larger piece of furniture.
