Makita collets from 3 to 8 mm and SDS-Plus and SDS-Max adapters

Makita collets and SDS adapters connect the machine to the inserted tool. Joiners, installers and builders use them to clamp router bits, mounted points, chisels and holesaws in the right holder.

Collets hold the shank of a router bit or mounted point in a router, straight grinder or trimmer. Choose the collet by the shank diameter of your tool: 3 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm or 6.35 mm, which equals 1/4". They come with or without a nut; check which version your machine uses.

On rotary and demolition hammers it is all about the tool holder. An SDS-Plus to SDS-Max adapter lets you combine tools that were not designed to go together. The SDS-max proconnect system works with an adapter and extensions, so you can drill deeper with the same tool. An SDS-Max adapter for a tamper, an SDS-Plus adapter shaft and an SDS-Plus adapter for holesaws from 32 to 152 mm complete the range. These parts belong to Makita machining tools, together with the cutting tools they hold.
