Powerful brushless planer with remote dust extraction start
Hand planer for a planing depth of up to 3 mm and planing width 82 mm. The depth can be easily adjusted with the thumb wheel. Removable disposal port on the left or right side. Useful for e.g. shortening interior doors or narrowing panels and mouldings.

The DKP181 is a handy planer perfect for shortening interior doors or narrowing panels and mouldings. It can achieve a planing depth of up to 3 mm and a planing width of up to 82 mm. For added convenience, chip removal can take place to either side of the tool.The planer can be easily connected to Makita hoovers and dust bags. Auto-start Wireless Technology (AWS) allows the hoover to be switched on with the planer's on/off switch. This reduces dust, noise and cords in the workplace, making working with the DKP181 extra clean and safe.
