This blade is made of high-speed steel (HSS). This is a hard material that has a long life and can make fast cuts. The blade is suitable for harder materials such as metal, copper, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. The blade attachment is bayonet-shank type, also called T-shank, designed for quick and easy blade changes. The T-shaped cross-section fits into the blade holder of the jigsaw. The shape of the shank ensures a secure attachment and reduces the risk of the blade slipping or coming loose during use. The sharpened teeth have sharper edges for a smooth, accurate cut with slower cutting time.
