Nut driver and box spanner sets for hex fasteners
A nut driver set covers the small hex fasteners that a socket and ratchet cannot reach cleanly: terminal blocks, panel screws, hose clips, threaded rod ends and anything sunk in a recess where a bulky drive head fouls the surrounding metal. Each driver holds one fixed size, so the set is bought as a spread rather than as a single tool, typically metric 5 to 13 mm for electrical and cabinet work and 8 to 24 mm where the fasteners are structural.
Shaft design decides what the set is worth in practice.
