Thanks to its technical equipment, the machine is extremely precise and very easy to operate: in the process, a 710-watt universal motor replaces the classic belt drive known from conventional bench drills. Thus, the speed can be infinitely adjusted with a rotary knob. No more laborious belt tensioning. The PBD 40 also features two speeds and a Constant Electronic, which prevents the speed from dropping when drilling into hard materials because it ensures a constant speed. It can be precisely set using the electronic display on the digital display. The bench drill PBD 40 can be used flexibly, whether in furniture or model construction or in craft or restoration work. On the digital display, the selected speed and the achieved drill bit diameter can be read at any time. This allows the do-it-yourselfer to control drilling optimally. In doing so, an integrated laser serves as a drilling aid. The LED lamp provides good illumination of the working area. The drill bit is lowered using an adjusting wheel with soft-grip surface. It is held by a high-quality quick-clamping drill chuck with lock ring. This prevents the drill bit from sinking. Unlike non-stationary drills, the drill bit of the PBD 40 always drops vertically into the workpiece.
