Smooth rotation under misalignment with Skf
- Automatic compensation for misalignment: The spherical outer raceway allows you to accommodate shaft deflections and angular errors without extra friction.
- Low friction at high speeds: The lightweight polyamide cage minimizes heat generation, ensuring you maintain smooth operation even at high rotational speeds.
- Straightforward cylindrical mounting: Featuring a standard 45 mm cylindrical bore, you can fit this double-row bearing directly onto your shaft.
With the Skf 2309 ETN9 double-row self-aligning ball bearing, you easily compensate for shaft deflections and angular misalignments during operation. Thanks to the spherical outer ring raceway, this open bearing accommodates alignment errors without unnecessary friction. Its lightweight glass-fibre reinforced polyamide cage minimizes friction and limits heat build-up at high rotational speeds. Featuring a 45 mm cylindrical bore, a 100 mm outside diameter, and a 36 mm width, you can mount this bearing directly onto straight shafts in pumps, fans, and industrial drive units.
Product description
Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls, a common sphered raceway in the outer ring and two deep uninterrupted raceway grooves in the inner ring. They are insensitive to angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing, which can be caused, for example, by shaft deflection.
- Accommodate static and dynamic misalignment
- Excellent high-speed performance
- Excellent light load performance
- Low friction
