The unique protected design of this SKF Hook spanner, allows it to tighten and loosen lock nuts whilst these are inside SKF split plummer (pillow) block housings (SNL). Alternatively it can be used as regular hook spanner. They are used to secure and adjust bearings on tapered journals, adapter sleeves and withdrawal sleeves. The SKF hook spanner HN 26/SNL, is designed for nuts with an outer diameter of 165 mm. In particular for lock nuts of series KM 26, KMFE 26, KMT 26, KMT 28, N 028, AN 26 and M115x2, M120x2 (DIN 1804).
