KQ2S, One-touch Fitting White Color - Hexagon socket head male connector
- At SMC we are continuously investing in research and development to refine and improve the performance and functionality of our products as well as develop new innovations to drive energy savings and deliver competitive advantages for our customers. A good example of this is our New KQ2, general purpose fitting, which requires up to 30% less force for inserting and sealing a tube and 20% less resistance for its removal. This makes the fittings even quicker and easier to assemble, leading to reduced labour costs. In addition to the compact and lightweight solutions in the existing range, the new KQ2 Series offers further reduced dimensions for confined spaces providing shorter widths of up to 23% and up to a 24% reduction in height, making the overall fittings 57% lighter than previous models. The KQ2 Series also has two thread material options of Brass and Brass & Nickel plating and two types of seals, featuring a Sealant or Gasket design, allowing for repeatable piping and preventing contamination in the case of the Gasket. Moreover, the KQ2 Series offers several thread types of M, R, NPT, UNF and Uni, as well as a full range of diameters from Ø2mm that can now deliver air saving in low flow applications and up to Ø16mm to improve cycle times in high flow applications.
