Applications: As a joint finish in masonry, between precast elements and concrete walls. Soudaband Acryl 300 can also be used as secondary sealing of the joint between window frames and wall. Must be covered afterwards, e.g. with Soudaseal 215LM. Instructions for use: Soudaband Acryl 300 is easy to apply without special tools. The use of a spatula, knife or scissors and possibly wooden wedges is sufficient. After determining the joint width, select the corresponding tape size. The joint sides should be parallel and free of construction dirt and/or cement residue. When unrolling Souda tape, take at least 1 cm extra. In the case of vertical joints, start at the bottom by placing the Soudaband. Fix the swelling tape by pressing the self-adhesive side against a joint side using a putty knife. After application, the pre-compressed band will swell, causing it to press against the joint flanks, thus filling the joint, with any unevenness. When buttressing two Soudaband ends, it is important that they are flush on the visible side and that the two ends are firmly connected.
