- The formulation guarantees a perfect finish with all types of paint, stain or varnish: with little or no risk of reactions such as paint cracking or discolouration
- Tecryl cures to a plastic consistency that perfectly follows the expansion and movement of the substrate, but does not dissolve or crack
Instructions
- Apply to clean and dry to slightly moist substrate
- Spread dry or wet with spatula
- Can be repainted after 1 hour, depending on temperature and humidity. Remove any protective tape before skin formation to prevent damage to it
- Use X-Seal for expansion joints
- Improve adhesion and strengthen weak substrates such as aerated concrete or plaster by coating with diluted Tecryl (2 parts water to 1 part Tecryl)
- Test the adhesion on plastics, powder paints, exotic woods, bluestone
- And bituminous materials
- The perfect joint is as deep as it is wide (from 5 to 10 mm)
- The drying time depends on: the temperature of the product, the temperature of the environment, the temperature of the substrate, the layer thickness, the humidity of the substrate
- Do not use as glass sealant or as adhesive sealant. Not suitable for joints with standing water or with immersion
- Use XealPro as a sealant for wet joints in showers, baths and sanitary rooms
