Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is an impregnated pre-compressed joint sealing tape based on polyurethane foam, with soft foam, impregnated with acrylic dispersion, admixtures and fillers. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is adhesive coated on one side. After application, the pre-compressed tape will slowly expand to fill the joint. At a compression of at least 30% of the maximum width, the impregnated foam is impact rainproof up to 600 Pa.Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is part of the product range Sustainable Airtight Construction. These products are tested for thermal insulation, rain tightness and air loss. Applied correctly, these products contribute to the energy savings of a building and are closely aligned with concepts such as the passive house and energy-neutral houses.

Areas of application:
Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 can be used universally for sealing joints in building structures. It is preferably used for window constructions, timber constructions, prefabricated constructions and masonry, frame constructions and concrete constructions. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 offers particular advantages when it comes to sealing connections and expansion joints between different building components and as a sealing foil at roof extensions to make them wind-tight. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is mainly used for sealing connection joints because of its good sound insulation values. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 on the roll can be used universally and can also be inserted in existing joints because of its precompressed shape. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 can be used airtight or passively in combination with Zwaluw Compress Band 2D or Zwaluw Window Foil Interior.
