The perfect occupational shoe with midfoot protection
Safety shoes with midfoot protection are usually rather complicated. Often a reinforced tongue is folded over the instep of the foot quasi as an extra layer of protection. Or a piece of metal is incorporated that is stable but also heavy. If then also a steel toe cap is added, one almost has something like a medieval knight's boot on one's foot. It is different with the TERENCE XXG PRO BOA® black Mid ESD S3 HI M. That one has the XRD® MET GUARD as midfoot protection. This is a flexible polyurethane foam insert that effectively protects the metatarsal from injuries caused by falling objects or impacts. This is complemented by a synthetic toecap under the cowhide leather upper. As a result, the foot is optimally protected from the toes to the instep. A metal-free penetration protection ensures that there is no danger even from below. And thanks to the BOA® Fit System, the safety shoe is easy to use, as the clever click-and-twist system does away with awkward closing of the safety shoe. The WELLMAXX GRIP RUBBER/PU sole also provides very good cushioning and excellent slip resistance. The ESD safety shoe with breathable lining and TPU protective toe cap is available in sizes 39 to 48.
