About this statement
Klium aims to make www.klium.be easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities and those using assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification). This page describes the current status, known barriers, and how to report issues.
Scope
This statement applies to:
- www.klium.be and its main pages and user journeys
- navigation, search, category pages and product pages
- cart, checkout/payment, account and customer service pages
Standard
The reference standard is EN 301 549 (based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA).
Conformance status
Partially conformant (internal assessment). Some barriers remain. Priority focuses on checkout and core navigation.
Non-accessible content
Known issues include:
- Interactive components (filters, dropdowns, modals/pop-ups): focus order and keyboard control are not fully consistent everywhere.
- Forms (account/checkout/contact): labels, error messages and status messages are not always clear for screen readers.
- Images and icons: alternative text or accessible names can be incomplete, especially for icon-only buttons.
- Contrast and focus: contrast or focus indicators may be too weak on certain elements.
- Language and messages: some short messages or component text may not match the page language.
Improvement actions
- Keyboard navigation and focus management in filters, menus and pop-ups
- Consistent labels, error text and ARIA relationships in forms
- Alternative text and accessible names for icons and buttons
- Contrast and focus styling on CTAs, links and form controls
- Language attributes and consistent language per page
Third-party content
Some elements are provided by external parties (e.g. payment provider, WhatsApp, embedded content). Direct control can be limited. Please report issues; we will look for a workable alternative.
Alternatives
If you cannot place an order, complete payment, or find information due to an accessibility issue, please contact customer service. We will assist you and, if needed, offer an alternative channel.
