The NOLAN XXG GTX black-red Mid ESD S3S WR HI CI meets these requirements with precision you can feel. The EXTRAGUARD upper material made of GORE-TEX is something special: robust like leather, but about 40 per cent lighter, withstanding the rigours of tough working conditions without sacrificing flexibility. Moisture? It barely absorbs water, dries quickly and keeps warmth at the foot - a difference you'll notice on cold, damp days. Moreover, the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear lining ensures not only waterproofing, but also a breathable shoe climate. The steel toecap protects toes with unwavering reliability, while the metal-free penetration guard - partly made from recycled materials - stops sharp objects from below without weighing down the shoe. The ESD PRO black insole, also with recycled components, feels comfortable and supports the foot with every step. But the heart of the shoe is the running sole: a RUBBER/PU combination with WELLMAXX GRIP, which provides grip on slippery or uneven surfaces - certified SR, FO and LG for excellent slip resistance, oil resistance and stability on ladders. In addition, the shoe has WR, HI and CI features: waterproof, heat and cold insulating - a shoe for all conditions. BASF's sole core of Infinergy® absorbs every step and returns energy, making even long working days less stressful.
