Product description
- Hard flexible wheel is highly effective in deburring without damaging the workpiece
- Wrapped construction ensures the wheel runs smoothly, helping to produce consistent results
- Scotch-Brite non-woven material resists clogging and continuously exposes new abrasive grains for continuous cutting power
- Minimises heat build-up to reduce the risk of discolouration and warping on heat-sensitive substrates
- Effective for all types of metals, composites, and glass, with one wheel able to handle more tasks
When you need an aggressive wheel for different deburring tasks, our Scotch-Brite Deburring Wheel is a good place to start. This silicon carbide wheel offers hard density in both medium and fine grades for light to medium deburring of edges on carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium; also on soft metals such as aluminium, copper and brass as well as composites, plastics and glass.
Use our hard, aggressive Scotch-Brite Deburring Wheel for all kinds of deburring tasks and surfaces. Our silicon carbide wheels offer high density (11), in medium and fine coarseness. They are effective at light to medium edge deburring on carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium and soft metals The twisted and non-woven design of our Scotch-Brite deburring wheels provides consistent abrasive performance on flat or irregular surfaces throughout the life of the wheel. Our wheels are hard and durable, making them ideal for deburring pressed or laser-cut parts, cleaning or finishing after belt sanding, reducing grooves in the base material. They offer a superior finish, which may eliminate the need for further finishing steps. They use an extra sharp silicon carbide abrasive grain, a synthetic material typically used in low-pressure applications, such as finishing and paint preparation. Silicon carbide breaks down faster than alumina, and gives a finer finish. The open web material stays cool in use and is full-bodied, preventing fibre clogging. Combined with the continuous breaking down of the fibres in the web exposing new minerals, this ensures a continuously high cutting performance of the minerals. This results in an extremely long tool life. Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products consisting of abrasive grains embedded in non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres. Because abrasive grains are combined with fibres in this way, it creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product life. Use Scotch-Brite products to improve productivity while reducing the use of stripping chemicals and wire brushes. From aesthetic finishing to blending welds, deburring and more, they work quickly and deliver consistent results, part after part.
