Scotch-Brite Surface Conditioning Disc SE for heavy-duty deburring and finishing with the efficiency of the Hook and Loop system. Our heavy-duty non-woven fibreglass construction is also suitable for use on edges, as well as irregular or curved surfaces.
For efficient heavy-duty deburring, sanding, polishing and finishing, use 3M Scotch-Brite SE Surface Conditioning Disc with an aluminium oxide abrasive grain. Many industrial professionals prefer aluminium oxide because of its high cutting speed and long life. It is a strong, durable abrasive that constantly self-degrades during use so that new cutting edges are always created, unlike traditional abrasive grains, such as garnet, which wear out quickly during use. It also retains little heat and is ideal for grinding, sanding and finishing. Our aluminium oxide disc is suitable for use on numerous substrates in both wood and metalworking, including ferroalloys. Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products with abrasive grains embedded in non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres. Combining abrasive grains with fibres in this way creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product life. The open web material remains cool during use and is full-web resistant. As a result, the fibres are less likely to clog and the abrasive minerals maintain high performance.
