Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Flap Brushes are a versatile, high-performance alternative to conventional brushes and several, technique-dependent polishing pastes. Very long-lasting, these brushes give improved consistency and greater control over a number of critical metal preparation and finishing tasks, such as cleaning, deburring, polishing, and obtaining an aesthetic finish.
Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Flap Brushes use patented 3M non-woven material technology. Our brushes have an open web structure that can reduce downtime and increase productivity through less clogging and longer cutting action, requiring less frequent replacement than conventional brushes. The non-woven technology makes Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives unique. A combination of fibre strands, synthetic resin and abrasive beads forms a thick, open web. The springy nature of the fibres reacts to contours and effectively removes unwanted burrs, dirt and contaminants while maintaining the geometry of the workpiece, which in turn reduces rework and increases productivity. The abrasive can escape through holes in the web, preventing particles from clogging the mineral. Fibres in the web constantly break down during use so that fresh minerals are exposed. This guarantees exceptional consistency, superior cutting performance and extremely long service life. Scotch-Brite products increase not only productivity but also user safety by reducing the need for cleaning chemicals and pastes and replacing wire brushes that can break off and cause injury. From aesthetic finishing to blending welds, deburring and more: Scotch-Brite abrasives work quickly and deliver consistent results, part after part.
