- Flood-resistant design ensures consistent performance across the sheet
- Malleable and soft for an even finish
- Flexible to treat even hard-to-reach areas
- Highly durable material ensures long life
The Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish sheet features a stiff, tight and dense web structure that is malleable. This allows it to adapt to unique contours and hard-to-reach areas. Our Cut and Polish sheets can be used manually or attached to an orbital sander for metalworking, paint preparation or removal of coatings and rust.
Use the Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Sheet for aggressive blending and finishing. Our Cut and Polish sheets can be used to manually clean and polish inside diameters or can be attached to an orbital sander for tougher tasks - including metalworking, paint preparation and rust removal. These sheets use aluminium oxide abrasive minerals. This strong, durable mineral self-degrades during use so that new cutting edges keep appearing - whereas traditional natural abrasive grains blunt faster. Because of its high cutting speed, hardness and strength, it is widely used in grinding, sanding and finishing applications. Aluminium oxide is suitable for numerous materials in both wood and metalworking, including ferroalloys. Scotch-Brite abrasives consist of unique surface treatment products containing abrasive minerals in a non-woven fibre layer. Combining abrasive minerals with non-woven material creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the life of the product. The open web material remains cool during use and is full-flow resistant. As a result, the fibres are less likely to clog and the abrasive minerals maintain high performance.
