The Scotch-Brite 7448 PRO roller consists of durable, precisely coated fibres with fast cutting action that deliver a consistent finish. Our unique design of ultra-fine minerals and coated, flexible fibres is perfect for preparing surfaces for paint and primer application, general light sanding and manual blending.
Use Scotch-Brite 7448 PRO roller as an excellent alternative to steel wool, wire brushes and sandpaper for cleaning or finishing tasks. Our 7448 PRO rolls offer uniform results, in less time. Use them on a variety of materials, including wood, metal, plastic, ceramic, porcelain, glass, rubber or composites. The roller format allows you to create a custom sheet to mattify and clean surfaces quickly and efficiently. The material is designed to reduce surface preparation time, whether for automotive painting or light sanding of furniture or cabinets. The fibre-coating technology ensures an efficient cut and consistent scratch, reducing the time needed to lightly sand, prepare or finish parts. Densely graded sanding particles ensure consistent, even results throughout the life of the roller. With ultra-fine-grit silicon carbide abrasive material, it cuts quickly, providing a clean, smooth finished surface. Suitable for use on a wide range of materials, the performance of these pads is similar to steel wool coarse 00. However, unlike steel wool, the Scotch-Brite 7448 PRO roller will not rust or cause fine metal chips after use. Use for cleaning, finishing, blending and deburring, or for light sanding before applying lacquer and paint primers. They also clean upholstery and chrome. Versatile for use in wet or dry environments, these pads can be rinsed and used repeatedly. We have filled the grey rollers with ultra-fine silicon carbide abrasive mineral, a synthetic mineral that is very sharp and widely used for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation. The material breaks down faster than aluminium oxide, for a superior finish. Scotch-Brite PRO is a unique surface conditioning product with an abrasive material embedded in non-woven nylon fibres.
