The MADDOX XXR BOA® black-grey Mid ESD S3S looks like a sports shoe, but has all the safety features of an S3S model. The hydrophobic microfibre and textile upper remains weatherproof, even when it gets damp, dusty or simply unpleasant. Inside, a breathable textile lining ensures wearing comfort, while at the front, a steel toecap takes care of the things you'd rather not discuss. Metal-free penetration protection with shares of recycled materials protects from below, without driving up the weight. The BOA® Fit System replaces morning lacing with a precise twist. Underfoot is the full insole SPORTIVE ESD black, also with recycled components. Down below, things get really exciting: the PU/PU sole WELLMAXX RECHARGED with Infinergy® from BASF not only absorbs shock but also returns energy. As the openings in the sole show, the high-tech cushioning material extends from the heel to the midfoot. So you benefit even more from the dynamic rebound effect - a real advantage, especially when the musculoskeletal system is heavily loaded. FO and SR certifications confirm that the shoe is oil- and fuel-resistant and has excellent slip resistance. ESD capability is also on board. Available in sizes 39 to 48.
