The tactical all-rounder for the construction site
If any work shoe looks like it could handle a mountain expedition, it is the ZEPHYR Work GTX coyote High ESD S3S. Originally developed to take soldiers through rugged terrain - now ready to make its way through debris and mud. LOWA has created a true special forces classic with the Zephyr: rugged, lightweight and built to withstand long deployments. Thanks to GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear, it stays dry inside, even in heavy rain. At the same time, the foot can breathe, which is golden when the sun heats up the shell. The GUMMI/PU sole LOWA X-Trac Work with MONOWRAP® frame provides support and stabilises the foot thanks to PU elements. And although it appears stable, the Zephyr is surprisingly light, which is also due to the plastic safety toe cap and metal-free penetration guard. These bring much less weight than, say, a steel toecap and steel midsole. The upper material of hydrophobised suede/textile material prevents moisture and wetness from taking hold. And because things do occasionally bump into the shoe on construction sites, a PU creep nose protects the most vulnerable area of the shoe - the front. It protects the material from abrasion, scratches and impacts. In addition, the boot is certified WR (waterproof), FO (oil and fuel resistant), SR (slip resistance above standard), HI (heat insulating), CI (cold insulating) and HRO (heat resistant outsole). Available in sizes 39 to 48.
