Recycling meets high-tech
Our TORNADO XXSW BOA black-blue Low ESD S1PS from the WELLMAXX-SKYWALK series combines materials with an increased proportion of recycled components with innovative technologies that take comfort, durability and protection to the next level. In doing so, we demonstrate that environmental awareness and technological progress go together excellently. The upper material consists of hydrophobic microfibre with recycled components. It is flexible, water-repellent and the colour gradient from dark navy blue at the forefoot to light blue at the midfoot and heel emphasises the dynamic character of the shoe. The breathable textile lining with recycled components also ensures a pleasantly dry climate in the shoe. The laces and stitching are made entirely of recycled material. On the instep, directly above the tongue, is the BOA® Fit System Li2, which allows extremely precise adjustment of the fit. The rotary knob (the Dial) can be operated in both directions - this allows quick and controlled release of the shoe without fully opening the system. This ensures maximum wearing comfort even during long working days. The GUMMI/eTPU/SCF sole from the WELLMAXX-SKYWALK series also convinces across the board. The midsole combines an open Infinergy® module from BASF in the heel area with Super Critical Foaming, which ensures maximum energy return and dynamic cushioning with minimal weight. The protective carbon toe cap reliably protects against impacts, while the metal-free penetration protection prevents sharp objects from entering the sole. A TPU creep nose reinforces the upper at the front of the shoe and reduces wear when working in a kneeling position. The shoe with excellent slip resistance (SR-certified) is FO-, SC- and HRO-certified, ESD-capable and available in sizes 36 to 48.
