OK 53.16 Spezial is a double-coated, basic, low-hydrogen electrode for welding unalloyed and fine-grained steels. The electrode combines the user-friendly welding characteristics of a rutile electrode with the mechanical performance of a basic electrode. Thanks to its double coating, it is also suitable for welding transformers with a low open-circuit voltage (OCV) and can be used with both AC and DC.
