OK 67.70 is a rutile-acid stainless steel welding electrode with a molybdenum-containing, over-alloyed weld metal for joining stainless steel to unalloyed and low-alloy steels. The electrode is also suitable for applying buffer layers and corrosion-resistant build-up layers. Thanks to its low carbon content and the addition of molybdenum, the weld metal offers good corrosion resistance and high resistance to heat cracking.
OK 67.70 is used for dissimilar steel joints, buffer layers, build-up welding and repair work where a corrosion-resistant and reliable welded joint with molybdenum-containing weld metal is required.
