OK Femax 33.60 is a rutile high-efficiency welding electrode containing iron powder, with an efficiency of approximately 160 per cent. The electrode has been specially developed for horizontal-vertical fillet welds on thin and medium-thickness plates. The weld metal flows smoothly against the vertical material, resulting in smooth welds without undercut, even at higher welding currents. When the correct welding technique is used, the slag is often self-removing, which minimises the need for post-weld finishing.
OK Femax 33.60 is used for welding general structural steel, boiler plate and shipbuilding plate, where a high deposition rate and a productive welding method are required.
