Saw blades, variable-tooth holesaws and windscreen cutter blades from Facom are consumables for sawing metal and tube and for cutting out bonded glass, in the workshop and the body shop. On a saw blade the tooth pitch decides the result. A blade with 12 teeth per cm cuts thin-walled tube and sheet without snagging, while 10 teeth per cm goes faster through more solid material. Holesaws with variable teeth cut round openings for cable entries, glands and pipework. Choose the diameter, from 22 to 40 mm, to suit the opening, and look at the holesaw length: it sets how thick a material you get through in one pass.

Blades for the windscreen cutter slice through the adhesive bead of a bonded windscreen. They carry a number and a 63 mm size; check both against your windscreen knife and keep a few spare blades, because a dull blade drags on the bead.
