Makita cordless sheet metal shears, nibblers, threaded rod cutters and cable cutters

Makita cordless sheet metal shears, nibblers, threaded rod cutters and cable cutters are the battery machines for cutting sheet, threaded rod, rebar and power cable, for installers, electricians, roofers and steel fixers. Most of them run on 18V LXT.

For sheet work, choose between a shear for straight cuts and a nibbler up to 1.6 mm for curves and profiled sheet. Fibre cement shears cut facade panels without the dust a grinder makes. For threaded rod cutters the range decides: M6 to M10 or M8 to M12, with a clean cut that takes a nut straight away. A hydraulic rebar cutter cuts reinforcement on site, with no mains power or compressor.

Electricians get cable cutters for Al/Cu or ACSR power cables, a 105 mm cable cutter and a 60 kN crimping tool. A 40Vmax punch makes holes in sheet and profiles, and a 10.8V CXT cutter cuts cardboard, carpet and film. These machines are part of Makita battery tools. The fixing holes for threaded rod are often drilled with the cordless drills and combi hammers by Makita.
