Product description
- PFERD Wheel brush crimped RBU dia. 60x10 mm shank dia. 6 mm stainless steel wire dia. 0.20
Characteristics
- Generally suitable for cleaning, derusting, smoothing, cleaning of weld seams, light deburring, and removal of corrosion and paint
- In order to fulfil the particular requirements for working with stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses wire quality 1,4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes
- Practical experience from industry has shown that this offers very good corrosion resistance with an optimum tool life
- All PFERD brushes with INOX filaments are colour-coded in blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A
- The wire quality 1,4310 tends to become ferromagnetic in the case of cold working; i
- E
- It can be attracted using magnets
- ;The reason for this is a change in the microstructure caused by deformation ( e.g. during the wire drawing process)
- This does not have any impact on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament
- The filament is still resistant to corrosion
- Stainless steel wire (INOX) withstands temperatures up to 450 °C
Advantages:
- Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the workpiece contour.
- Very good corrosion resistance.
- Creates fine surfaces.
