Tool hooks and hanging hooks for the workshop
A tool hook keeps a tool visible and within reach on a wall panel, a tool board or the inside of a cabinet door. What hangs on a hook goes back to the same place after use, and an empty hook shows at a glance that something is missing. That is why workshops running shadow boards build their layout on them. The choice starts with the panel.
A hook fits the hole pattern and the plate thickness it was made for, so check those first, because a hook from another series either sits loose or will not go in. Then comes the shape. A straight hook end is meant for light items. An end angled upwards holds heavier tools in place when they are knocked. A hook for ring spanners carries a run of spanners side by side in ascending size.
Finally, look at the wire thickness, because together with the shape it sets the load capacity. Shelves for the same cabinets and racking sit under shelf tray, and the dividers that split a compartment under divider.
